How do some of you handle this? I'll drag and drop a plan view onto a sheet and sometimes the viewport edge is huge, usually doing site plans when this happens. In AutoCAD I would just grab a grip and resize it but in Revit it seems to be a pain to change this easily. I have to be missing something, right?

Thanks, Jarod

Let me add to this, Crop Region is the only way?

that is just the extents of the view. go into the view and change the crop region. If you have 7.0 there is a button on the bottom of each window to turn the crop region on and off or hide it. Make sure it's on and then you can just use the grips.

yes, crop region is the only way, but you can do it graphically with grips. If you want to do it while in the sheet view, just right click the view and activate it, then drag the crop region around at will.

I find the crop region doesn't plot ... and I've split the view with a dependant. The dotted outline of the dependant plots. ??

A little unsure based on your post what you are trying to do. But yes, crop regions by default don't print. This setting is controlled under the Print Settings --> Setup menu down at the bottom you can uncheck the "Hide Crop Boundaries" setting. That should do...fyi...you can use matchlines for dependent views but like I said, I wasn't really sure what you were trying to get at in your post.
