Spot slope default length

Any way to set the default spot slope length? I'm setting up to use this tool but the default triangle size is ridiculously huge.

In the Type Properties there is a parameter for Leader Line Length which can be adjusted. Once its changed once it seems to remember that length for all new Spot Slopes that are added.
