design options

I am wondering why when I have a design option set to "all" in the view props it wont make the design option that is current editable? For instance when I have a floor plan view selected and I want to edit a design option I have to go to that views props and change it to the current design option that I am working on in order to be able to edit it instead of have it set to "all". I am sure that there is a simple fix but I cant seem to find it.

Never mind, figured it out, need to set it to "automatic" in the view props. Duh
