Hi All,
Sorry for the rookie question but I've been away from revit for awhile. Can someone remind me how to shrink down a viewport to fit on my sheet. When I import a .dwg into a drafting view, the viewport is 10 times larger than my sheet even though the content fits fine. Can't remember how to drag the viewport edges, (or whatever), to shrink it.

In a Drafting View, you dont.

I think you are referring to inserting a view into a sheet (not a .dwg into a drafting view). If that is the case, before going to the sheet, go to that view, make sure first that the current scale is appropriate, then click on "Show crop region" (next to the glasses icon), stretch the edges of the region around the view, and then click on "Hide crop region" (same button). Now go to the sheet and try to insert the view again.

I think hes trying to insert a huge dwg, and then use a crop region to basically "XCLIP" it down. Which cant be done in a Drafting View.
He can do it in a Floor Plan...

Hmm, I see. He says that the contents fit well, even though the viewport is huge. I wonder if there is something in that .dwg file causing this. Probably there are other entities besides the ones he can see. Maybe checking the .dwg file before importing can fix this. If not, the alternative of bringing the file into a plan view instead seems like a very good solution.
