I am attempting to draw a tapered tee section using the content generator.

Seems a great tool on the face of it.

However, I want to draw a tee that is flat on top and tappered on the soffit, why does this taper both faces (see attached) when setting the start and end depth different and all other variable constant?? A work around would be to change the end offset, however this would need re-done if the tee changed length.

Any ideas or am I doing something wrong??

I have always found it easier and quicker to draw in a full WT and then add a reference plane along the slope of your taper. Using the Cut tool, choose your WT and then the reference plane to trim it. It is also a good idea to pin the reference plane after you have set it.

Thanks, yeah thats how I would previously achieve a tapered tee, was hoping this tool would be a bit better as you can taper both the flange and/or web if necessary, cheers.
