Mode Shape Output

Hi

I was wondering can anyone tell me if it's possible to get the mode shape out into your calc's with RSA 2011, I don't meen as a screen shot but more traditionally either as displacement values say to excel or normalised with 1 at the top?

Hi

Following some excellent help/support from Autodesk, you simply go to 'Results', 'Avanced' then right click on the table, select column chooser click Eigenvalues and the directions for consideration and if they are to be normalised, direct export to Excel from the same right click menu.

To be more precise, you have to choose Results/Advanced/Modal analysis. Then right-click on that table and choose 'Table Columns...'. From Dynamic analysis value selection window choose second tab 'Eigenvectors'. Then you can select 'Components' and/or 'Normalized to 1'
