Can I constrain a 3d Section Box to a Scope Box?

The Scope Box is actually a "Scope Cube".

A self evident question... i can constrain the View Crop to a Scope Box. Can i constrain a 3D Section Box to a Scope Box? ( both being "3d")

Apparently you can't... how weird is that.

I was just wondering how usefull scope boxes are, and then ... this. This is not the first time i find an incoherent concept in Revit.

Sure would be nice to keep multiple 2d and 3d views in sync with a Scope Box.

Partial WORKAROUND (does not keep things in sync, can only view one level):

In a view, bind the crop region to the scope box. In the 3d view, right click the view cube, orient to view and select the view.

Install the free add-in 'Coins Section box". Select the scope box and run the add-in.

It's also pretty straight forward to use 'Orient to View' to rotate and crop a 3d view to match some other already cropped view. For example I have some 3ds of a Room, rooms in this project are rotated 10° from Project North. In the 3d view I open 'Orient to View' and select the room plan which has an already rotated crop box. Then I only need to adjust the Section Box's height and hide it.
