Hi All,
Has anyone noticed any rendering issues with Revit 2011, Web Update 1? In our office, we have only updated 3 machines to Web Update 1. On those machines, and those machines only, curtain wall glass will not render. Interestingly, glass that is a part of window components will render... Just the curtain panels will not.
The glass renders fine on the machines that we have not applied web update 1.
Any thoughts?

Well I've got some issue. Don't know what to make of this, the render seems to be missing parts of the model. Here's the model and the render:

I don't normally have to render models but just for the fun of it I rendered the curtain wall that I'm working on using a setting of Best, lighting scheme of Exterior Sun only, background of Sky: Few Clouds and it came out fine. Vision glass is 75% reflective green and spandrel glass is opaque green (using a solid curtain panel). I then did it again after changing the vision glass to blue 15% reflectivity. Still looks OK. Revit 2011 with Update #1.

Yes, this is similar to what we are experiencing... It's as if the curtain panel elements are gone in rendered views.
(not that it's helpful, but your rendering with the missing elements looks really hot!)

lol, thanks :)
I've traced the problem down to the materials. Materials with a "generic" appearance are not rendering. Weird thing is that in an older file, they do render. Something apparently broke along the way.
