My demo ceilings don't show dashed

We have a project where we had demolished existing acoustic ceiling tile and it used to show the grid dashed. Now the grid is showing up solid lines on all of the demo ceiling plans. The only thing we recall changing is we went into the phase display and for graphic overrides, we changes the display of existing construction in cut to override with a solid poche. The ceiling however would be effected by the demo override which calls for dashed in projection. Any ideas?

Ceiling Grids do not model the individual runners. They apply a Pattern to the ceiling to simulate the grid. So, when you changed your pattern to solid, that changed the Ceilings as well.

I understand that, but as I stated, I changed the pattern for Cut not for projection. I would expect the ceiling to use projection display since I am not cutting it, but looking at it in the RCP. It has not overridden the pattern with solid, but the lines don't show dashed.

Phasing graphics overrides do not affect model surface patterns. They only affect the projected edge and/or cut lines.

For ceiling grid lines to show dashed, you need to use an actual dashed model pattern for the ceiling surface.
