View Full Version : 2011 PressPull shortcut key missing?

Recently loaded Civil 3D 2011 on my new Windows 7 64bit computer (I know this is the AutoCAD forum, bear with me).

As I went to use the CTRL+ALT feature to extrude some closed polylines, nothing happened. Previously in 2009, CTRL+ALT was the shortcut key for the PRESSPULL command, which was a big timesaver for us. For some reason, this functionality is missing in my version of 2011.

I tried to redefine the shortcut key in my CUI, but when I do, it will not accept the combination of CTRL and ALT keystrokes for the key access. I've tried adding all four Presspull commands (really, Autodesk? FOUR?) from the command list, and none of them accept the CTRL+ALT keystroke for their access key.

Does anyone know if this is a 'feature' (intentional) or a 'bug' (unintentional) to the software, or if perhaps I'm doing something wrong?

From (vanilla) A2011 Help -
"You can also press Ctrl+Shift+E and click inside an area to initiate the press or pull activity."

Worth a try?
