Custom Elevation Tag Error

Can someone please help me with the attached elevation tag? When i try to use it it
gives me the following error:

Attempt to change elevation tag families to one with incompatible view
directions.

I am getting this same error when upgrading a model from 2010 to 2011.
The elevation markers (triangles) are gone in 2011 but the actual views still exist.
Have you found a solution?

make sure "Elevation Mark Use" is either "Body" or "Pointer", see updated RFA
