Symbol leader lineweight

I know you can modify the lineweight of leader that is attached to a piece of text.

Is there a way I can do the same with a symbol leader?

See attached jpg for example. I want the leader that is attached to the Symbol to be thick like the leader that is attached to the piece of text.

Is this possible?
