Revit 2011 Selection issues

Does anyone else experience this problem? It happens to me daily. Occasionally while working in Revit I click on an element and it does not highlight however next to the little filter button it always says a number, as if I have selected the element but will not give me any properties for it. The only way to get around it is to start a new project in the same session and click in open area of the new project, then when I go back to the original project things are back to normal. So annoying.

Umm I believe so. I've updated this version once so....... I think

Grab a door, or a wall. Check or uncheck a value for an instance parameter in the properties palette, and make sure you use the Apply button in the palette, instead of just mousing bck to the viewport. That should restore Selection Visibility.

its a known issue, though i havent seen it since WU1.

Doesn't work I have to go to a new project then come back. It really sucks. Maybe it's just a problem with my graphics hardware thanks anyway though!

I am having the same issue in Revit Structure 2011. Sometimes synchronizing to central works but most of the time I end up closing the project and reopening it which is annoying. I have not applied webupdate 1 yet. I am running windows 7 on 64 bit with 12GB ram.
