Precise location of building for solar studies

I'm doing a preliminary solar study with masses. i have a number of buildings being built on an old site with lots of high rise buildings.

In Revit, if i pick the latitude and longitude does it refer to the center of the project or origin. or what exactly does the latitude and longitude refer to?

lordy it's funny it didn't occur to me that the latitude and longitude might refer to origin or center until i started typing the question. ( at that point i should have stopped and googled but i have been up all night working so my brain isn't sharp)

so i googled it and it seems it is origin. i swear i spent a good hour in the help file and more on this. i'm a student. so forgive my ongoing stupid questions.
