Our associate architect seems to be having some issues. I sent a revit 2010 file to him so he could provide some feedback. He updated the file to 2011 and everything looks good (the ribbon/commands, browser, geometry etc.).

The problem is everytime he clicks on any object the program automatically offsets it without giving him any sort of prompt or option. It is almost like there is a running shortcut key that has been mapped to the mouse!

Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Thanks

look at lower right corner of program screen for toggle called "press and drag". Maybe that is turned on, and the slightest touch of an object will cause it to move - a problem for heavy handed mouse users.

Its sounds like this also is related to the Option Bar screen jumping issue. Do a quick search, there are several posts with a variety of temporary fixes. AutoDESK knows about the issue but hasn't been able to resolve it yet.
