xref PDF question [Archive]

I don't know if this is possible...

I have an existing drawing pdf that is xrefed into my current drawing. Is there anyway to lighten the pdf so that it prints half-tone (existing) and my markups stay normal darkness/line weight???

**well somebody had replied but they deleted their post. if anybody else is curious the command is "pdfadjust - fade"

Unig 2010 ACA
Just select the file and 'Pdf Underlay' tabs pop up, go to adjust panel, there they are contrast and fade, to adjust your pdf file.
