I have a floor plan drawing with a little bumpout on one side. The bumpout doesn't go all the way from floor to ceiling it starts about 7' off the ground and is about 2' high. I want that bumpout to show up in plan. No problem. I just make a plan region.
Now I want to do a plan detail so I take the call out box and draw a callout around the bumpout. Click on the call out and take a look at the detail and the bumpout doesn't show up...because it thinks it needs to cut through 4', where my standard plan is cutting through.
I can't just move it up so I figured out that if i go into the properties there is a spot called "Parent View" so I change that from "Floor Plan" to "None". Now I can move it higher to cut through the bumpout accept now the detail call out is no longer visible on the floor plan.
I've got to be missing something. Anyone?
