Making a sweep inside a wall and splitting it

Hi,
Is there a way to, after adding a sweep to a wall (z-girts) that I can split it without splitting the entire wall? I have a door frame that is off mod and I don't want the sweep going where it IS (yes the door cut is cutting one of the sweeps), but I want the horizontal girt to stop at the vertical framing just below and just above the door. (it's a shute door that is 3' off FF)

I can try rewording this if this doesn't make sense.

I might suggest using a "real" structural framing member for the Z-purlin, in lieu of a wall sweep--this will allow you to frame it how ever you need to and not be limited to the software's sweep functions.
