While trying to import a cad based logo into revit titleblock, I actually end up with just a piece of text with the name of the file and no actual geometry.

I am running 2011 of the Autocad/Revit Architecture Suite. Any Ideas?

Perhaps there is a missing x-ref in the cad file?

If so, try binding it in Acad, Purge it, then Link back into the Revit titleblock.

Another method would be to make an image from the Cad file, like a .png or .tiff
and insert the image into the Revit titleblock.

cheers

Nope,
Thanks for playing....the file has no xrefs....it is the simple stupiest file I can make, I even used the export command to an older plain cad version to eliminate any style definitions, etc..... any other thoughts?

Is it made from splines?

It sounds like it is an image file in the CAD drawing. Embeded images will not import.

Could you post the cad file so we might try to replicate the problem.
