Hello!

I have modeled a simple beam with fixed supports on both end. Ran calculations and got results see attachment. Now i need the exact location of the point where My = 0. Or better yet place a graphical dimension between one of the supports and the My = 0 point.
Can this be done without zooming into the model till a grid point seems "close enough" to it?

Hey,

Go to Results/Forces, right click mouse and choose Table Columns. And there choose Division points and N-points along bar length. Use suitable number for your purposes.

Hello

I would like to say, that when looking for exact 0-point you are already on wrong lane.

For example the fixing-ratio at beam ends is hardly never 100%, so the 0-points are also in different places. ;>)

Also your loads are allways more or less inaccurate, so the curves coming from loads
are even more inaccurate.

We allways calculate with approximation and to believe that results are absolutely correct numbers is WRONG assumption.

Or after analysis you right click on the bar, press properties, go to NTM tab, check My and then scroll on the diagram until you find the point of interest.
