So I've made a new sink starting off as a unhosted Plumbing Fixture. I then nested it into a face based template and everything works fine. The problem is is that when I go to place in a plan view using the default Place on Vertical Face it comes on its front elevation. When I place it using Place on Work Plane it works fine.
I understand why its doing this with respect to views in face based families but I'd like it to match with my other face based fixtures - Using Place on Vertical face comes in as the plan view (when in plan).
I tried rotating the loose family inside the nested family but it won't let me.
Is there drawbacks to using Place on Work Plane? Or should I not worry about it?
EDIT: I've since rotated the original loose family and it all works as I want now
