Roof Modifications

I am doing an addition and where I tie in I need to remove or trim the existing roof eaves back to the existing wall line. Is it possible to modify a roof object in this fashion, and if it isn't, what are your recommendations?

Draw the full roof in the existing phase. Then copy the sketch lines to the new phase and trim back the eaves to produce the proposed roof.

If you're doing the addition as a new phase, trim it back with the opening cut tool, aligning one edge with the eve face and the other with the face of wall, the other two, wherever you want.

If you're not using phases, just re-edit the existing roof and align the edges with the face of wall.
