Revit Parametric Relationships in Families with Arcs

I have been trying to build a compound curve made of 3 arcs as a generic family model with some frustration. When dealing with arcs there seems to be no way of predicting the hierachy (if any) of multiple parameters controlling geometric relationships. The next assigned parameter type just seems to overule the last one with the result that the parametric idea never seems to work or it breaks what were good anchor points that remained on an intersection of two reference planes. Can anyone enlighten me on Revit logic concerning this, a search does not seem to reveal much.

You need to define and build parameters around reference arc line, not a plane. This is due to the nature of lines have end points and therefore allow better control. Lock the sketch line to that and you should be fine.
