i know it's quite an issue for Revit, but i'm not concerned w/ accurate number at this moment.
for example, in order to show intersecting line between roof and wall corner batten which i used customer family instead of sweep for good reason, i joined roof w/ batten family, works great but in material takeoff, extra rows will occurs which are the batten material inherited from roof material after joining.
i know it can be solved by some kind of workarounds, but is there a clean and straight forward solution? i mean joining but still keep different materials.
