Text in Tables

Hey All,
I am running ASD 2011. When i insert a table, the text shows up way too large. I had an issue like this running ASD 2010, and the way it was fixed was by modifying the size of text on the annotate tab under the text panel. This doesn't seem to affect the table in 2011 at all. This is very bothersome. I don't know if it's a problem with the file, the software, my install, or a combination of these things. Has anyone had this problem, and more importantly does anyone know how to fix it.

the only way i could alter text size was via the text style in the table style...

Of course the interesting part is that the text style is set at 40, and the size on the sheet is 2, so I guess you set it to be 20x the size you want.

its also a pain in the neck to get right when you do you're own template
