Family types

I'm having trouble with types within a family being accessible. The types don't respond once in the model. In the family edition they work fine. I had this problem. What could be causing this? Thanks.

If it was loaded in to the project before the Types had different values, then it wont override them unless you reload it with *override parameters* chosen...
