Hey all, I'm currently learning and playing about with revit to see what I can do with it.
At the moment I am modelling the steeple of a church my colleague is working on in CAD. It seems okay, but is there any way to align hatch patterns independantly on each face of an object?
The attached image shows my problem. I modelled the tower with a square base and an octagonal section on top of that. Where the corner slopes up to top section I modeled in place with a blend set as a wall object, then joined the lot together.
When it comes to assigning materials though, the slope goes mad. In elevation, each course needs to be horizontal, which means I need to realign the hatch on the sloped part only.
Any ideas?
***Update***
After a bit of a play, I have found I can use the align tool to sort the hatching on the walls, and if I edit the blend in place I can do the same to the vertical sides of the blend, but still can't align the slope hatch. What gives?
