I am trying to set the 3d visuilization material property using the api. What I have is a block with various 3d objects inside it. Each of those are on different layers. I want to chnage the material property of those layers using the api arx. Anyone ever done anything like that?

I've not done this using ARX, but the ActiveX COM API can, using the Material property of a given layer object.
