Above is the export file name that was created for one of my export files. Is there any way to control the file naming conventions for exports? These exceptionally long file names do not adhere to any standard system (AIA or National Cad Standard), and have really been raising eyebrows from my clients. Then if they try to xref that into their drawings the file names are just too long...

Maybe this is more of a wishlist item since I do not see anywhere to adjust these names. We need some sort of output database matrix that we can map export file names too, which defaults to AIA or National Cad Standard, or something reasonable.
Anybody else have problems with this?

Use names like FP-01 for your plans. You'll be able to use the "Name on Sheet" to control the printed name. The export will be much cleaner. We use the job number as the file name so it would export somethings like:

04012-Floor Plan-FP01.dwg

Not bad...

But how did you get rid of the "Drawing Sheet" reference?
