For family creation, I added forms to my QAT. When I started a new project, they were still available. Out of morbid curiosity, I clicked one to see what Revit would do. To my disbelief, it let me press on. A new form right there in the project environment. I wouldn't reccomend using them and their functionality is vastly reduced - can't join or cut. Just surprised that's all.
