Railing Join

Hi there.

Could someone explain to me why the junction at the top of the attached rail (between the angled section and flat section) do not have a 'Veritcle Segment' even though I have used the Edit Rail Joins Function (Insert Vertical/Flat Segment) on this junction in sketch mode!

Any ideas?

What would the reason be for that railing not joining using a 'Verticle' segment if I have set it to have a verticle segment?

Still no luck...
