Sub Element point display

Hello,
Is there a way to customize the display of point elevations when in sub-element mode? As a landscape architect modeling complex sloping surfaces, I find myself wishing I could see the elevations in decimal feet instead of ft/inches/fractions.

Not just for a single view mode like that. If you set the Project Units to decimal feet, then edit the points, they will display in decimal feet. Thern when done, switch it back.
