Columns and Stacked Walls

I have a stacked wall that I created. I downloaded the Tuscan column from the 7.0 website and placed it into the drawing. I need the column to be next to the wall; however, the closest I can get it is about a foot away (probably due to the footing). I get the following error message:

"A serious error has occurred. It is strongly recommended that you use Save As to save your work in a new file before continuing."

Now, if I break up the wall, the column can be placed next to the wall. Since, we're still pretty early in the project, I don't want to break up the wall just yet.

Any suggestions......
