Customized Mechanical Unit Schedule

I am trying to set up a customized schedule that lists mechanical equipment (air handlers, etc.), etc. and am having trouble simply linking the 2 existing A/C units to this schedule. This is a fundamental task, but I am not successful so far any insight?
Please see enclosed attachments showing the selected A/C unit and schedule that are not yet linked parametrically w/ their information?

If you dont have anything showing and there's no filter setup then you most likely don't have mechanical equipement. To make sure they are, open the family and check the Type.
