Cnnot Delete Sheet from Sheet List

Hello

I have sheets I would like to delete from my drawing list. They show up in the drawing list but not in my project browser (I dont know where they actually live). When I select the sheet row in the drawing list the option to delete is grayed out. What am I doing wrong?

Just an update to clarify,

I have "ghost" sheets in my model somehow...I cannot find them in project browser but they are showing up in the sheet list (drawing list). Oddly, these sheets are showing up as duplicates of other sheets. For example I have two sheets with the same number (I thought revit wouldnt let you do this).

Do you have a linked model into your project? If so, is the Include links box checked in your drawing list? These may be in the linked file, and why you can't delete them or see them in your project browser. Otherwise it sounds like the file is corrupt.
