stair display issue

I have a triangular shape of stair. for some reason it just does not show/cut correctly. on the first floor, no matter what view range i change the view, it shows the whole stair. What should I do to correct this? need some quick answer

In VG, is the "stairs beyond cut" set to shown or not?
