I am getting an error when I load "numerical data out of range........data truncated" (see attached)

Anyone know what this is?

I get this all the time with civil dwgs. My guess is its something in the dwg. It never causes any issues for me.

"Revit doesn't like big numbers"

I usually try not to theorize on computer issues, but it might be a floating point arithmetic problem. I suspect for example, that the one mile rule imposed on building location has to do with number respresentation issues.

And I'm using 64 bit Revit!

We've experienced a weird scenario - linked CAD details (yeah, I know, I know..) that have been in the project for MONTHS are now triggering this "numerical data is out of range" upon creating a local file. A separate warning for EACH detail. Yep. 60 clicks later, I verified in several of the linked DWGs that their origin was directly at the detail, EXTMAX showed nothing in the way far away, and WBLOCKing didn't resolve the warning/error. And it took months before this showed up. I've got a support case in with ADSK on the topic, so I'll update this with any credible comments/lessons that result.
