Elevation Text Justification

The elevation datum is designed to work on the right side of the datum line and works perfectlythere. On the left side the text behaves properly and is left justified when there is only one line of text but when more than one line it flips to be justified right.

I can create a family to be opposite this but then you have the same issue on the right side. To my knowledge you can't assign different datum symbols to the same datum line.

Any thoughts on how to make the text flip from one side to the other properly?
