Summary: Provide the MC-Miscellaneous shape for columns. All manufactured families should be provide for framing and columns.

Description: The revit family MC-Miscellaneous Channel.rfa is under the framing folder in the library. I need to use a miscellaneous channel as a column. My wish is a revit structure family for miscellaneous channels that can be loaded as a column. I have tried loading the existing framing family as a column but Revit won't allow it. Thanks.

How Used: In working closely with the architects, they are always using a miscellaneous channel (for example in most recent project, an MC4x13.8) for a column. Would use on most projects as a column.

Feature Affinity: Columns

Well, I would second this request - or is it thirds now???
This is a standard steel shape that is used for columns. I can't seem to find it on the net and really don't want to spend the hours to build something that should be in the software.

And Autodesk says?
