We have recently upgraded our Models to Revit Arch 2011, our consultants have upgraded to Struct and MEP 2011. Before the up grade, all the models behaved according to the properties of the view in the Arch model. We recently reloaded the MEP model which no longer cuts with the section, similar to how a 3d Autocad file would react in section when you would directly link it in without linking it into a family first. The results that we are experiencing is that in the longitudinal sections you can see all the piping and equipment that is behind the cut plane. In other words, you are always seeing the whole model eventhough you should be seeing only half of the model. In the transverse sections, the model does not appear at all. 3D it is all there. The Lighting and Structural consultant files are behaving just fine.
Is there a view setting or property that I am missing? Or is there something in the way the MEP engineers are saving and transferring that file that might be causing this?
