Is the workset on? Maybe reveal hidden elements?

Why would the grids not show up in an elevation?

Make sure the elevation crop extents crosses the grids--try adjusting the crop region in the elev. view as well.

Also, check that grids are on Shared Levels and Grids workset, and that it's on in the view.

Select a grid in a plan view and check 2D or 3D extents--and try using "propogate extents"
and see if they show up in the elevation.

Also check to be sure that your elevation is perpendicular to the grids. If grids don't intersect a section or elevation at 90 degrees then they won't show up.
