I had levels in a model that I couldn't get to show in an elevation. So I created new levels, but the old ones are still referenced. How can I get to the original elevations to either use them or delete them from the model?

Bryan, your levels are likely missing due to one of the following:
a) Levels category is turned off in the view's VG
b) Levels are not stretched across where your elevations are cutting the model
c) if worksharing, Levels may be in a workset that has its visibility turned off
a) and c) are pure visibility and easily solved. for b) you can either select your levels from another vertical view > RC > Maximize 3D extents (which expands them out to the largest entity in your model - if you have a linked civil file that can be quite far out) OR select the levels and drag their ends until the cross the location of your elevations.
Do not create new levels because you can't see the original ones. That opens up a whole new can of worms. You can delete the levels you added, but be sure that no new elements were created that are associated to the levels you are removing.
