What are some corridor best practices for projects that will be split into multiple DWGs? As far as I can tell in C3D my options are:

--> entire design in a single DWG [too big]
--> use XML to import corridors into DWGs [XML import not dynamic; have to reimport each time a corridor changes]

The fact that one can not Data Shortcut a corridor is really causing problems with this particular project! Anyone have some creative workarounds for this type of scenario? If you have experienced something similar, what did you do?

Break it up into multiple corridors in multiple drawings and use Data References to reference the alignments and profiles into the corridor drawings.

Here it is:

First file: DTM Surface --> send out DS
Second file: Horizontal alignments.. linework --> reference 1st file DS ..send out DS
Third file: Vertical design profiles --> reference second file DS..send out DS
Fouth file: Corridor--> reference alignment DS, profile DS, surface DS
Fith file: Sections --> Xref fouth file, reference alignments DS, sample corridor

Misc files: pipe networks, production drawings, and other..
