2D Lines - Constrained by PARALLEL !! ARGHG!

Ok, this is REALLY ANNOYING me!!

im doing so annotative fill patterns on my drawing and it is taking me AGES cos the lines wont join due to the "AUTO PARALLEL"

can i turn this off? as it is seriously hampering using Revit.

Not sure what you mean. Can you describe the issue in a bit more detail?

If it's what I think you mean - you can turn off the holding to whole angles and multiples thereof and increments of 5 mm or whatever, in Revit via

'Manage' -> 'Snaps' (the big red upturned horseshoe icon top left in the ribbon).

If you type "SO" while drawing lines it will turn off the automatic snap temporarily.
