Colored Room Legend issues

In this model, there is a level where the rooms are not changing to the color of the room legend. The legend has the correct colors, but when changing the room tag Name to match the legend entry, the fill in the room doesn't change.

Any suggestions?

See if setting them to by Department fixes it.

it would probably help if you posted the model, but my guess is that maybe it has something to do with cut plane or something?

Unfortunately the model cannot be posted. Everything in the viewrange is identical except for the associated levels, which are correct.

In the Room properties, create Departments and have the Rooms colored by Department.

Ok, the legend was by 'Name'. By 'Department' makes much more sense, unfortunately this was an inherited mess.

The problem was a floor slab blocking the colors in the room. Ack!

Thanks for the comments. The view range suggestion got me thinking...
