Arial font not printing correct size

I have a problem when I use Arial font set up at 3/32" it doesn't print a scaled 3/32". I have checked to make sure that in the print dialog box the zoom factor is set to 100% not Fit to page. In autocad it prints a true 3/32". Is there a setting that I am missing that needs to be changed to get it to come in correctly without having to increase the text size so that it prints a scaled 3/32". We are also using a cutom ttf. font that in autocad prints the size that it is suppoed to be but in revit it comes in quite a bit smaller so i have to increase the text size so that it prints correctly. Has anyone noticed this and is there a way that I can get this fixed. Attached is jpeg to show the size the custom font should be bottom and what is comes in as at 3/32

Does the printer have a setting which replaces or uses fonts from the application
or from the printer software?

Also, have you tried making a PDF and then printing from the PDF?

Or have you changed Raster or Vector settings in the print options?
