Hello! First post, and I am new to AutoCAD.

I am currently using AutoCAD Architecture 2011 in AutoCAD mode, and I have plotted the splines that I wish to make up my surface. I was trying the loft command at first, but I need more detail and I kept getting funky results. I tried lofting with guides, but I cannot seem to get them to work properly. When I finish this surface, I plan to mirror it for uniformity.

What is the best way to convert the splines in the attached file ("Model" layer) into a surface? I have only been experimenting with AutoCAD here and there for a couple of weeks, so please keep this in mind!

Thank you for your time!
Christopher

You can try DRAPE command. Note DRAPE command only exist with AutoCAD Architecture and not with vanila AutoCAD.

Hi there,

I downloaded your drawing and made mesh surfaces using surftab1 and surftab2 variables set to 36 and command "EDGESURF"... I broke splines into segments and if there were 3 edges instead of 4 I draw small spline imitating 4 edge so making surfaces was possible...

Here is result... It took me some time... But I can't attach what I made... (I don't know why? when I click attach I get blank page...)
