Currently i am using Autocad 2011. But some of our staffs are using Autocad structural detailings 2010. So when i try to copy to clipboard some objects from their drawing, i receive the message of "Copy to Clipboard failed".
Will be very appreciate if someone can guide.

Try WBlocking the objects you want out to a dwg file, and then inserting that as a block (explode as desired)

Does that work?

Save down the file to somthing lower and more basic.. then copy clip from it.

2011 and 2010 are the same drawing format, however, as a total guess, it could be that you are tying to copy an object that is native to structural detailing, and therefore gets converted to a proxy object in straight CAD. Are your proxy options set to show proxy objects?

It sounds to me like your clipboard may be full. clear the clipboard & see what happens
