Material differences

I have the same material assigned to two different elements, but they look different. Why is this? I have a material parameter in the family set to by category. How can I fix this? Thanks.

See if one of the concrete materials is set to "use render appearance for shaded view"
in either the family or inside the project?

Also, try using Realistic View ( RAC 2011 ) or a Consistent Colors view setting
and see how it looks.
