View Full Version : Elevation Issues - Revit Arch 2011

Morning all,

Yesterday I encountered an issue with my Revit 2011 – when I created an elevation I can see thru walls. I can see the stairs, ceilings and urinals etc that are actually on the other side of the wall and should not be able to be seen.
I have tried to fix this with no results. If I copy it into a new project however there is no issues.
Does anyone know if perhaps I have changed a setting somewhere and how to correct this or any other possible fixes!?
Thanks in advance.

Are these views set to Wireframe?

No set to Shaded with edges.
We have done all the obvoius stuff with restarting, checking cut planes etc.
I think it is a setting issue perhaps!?
Its only the East and South elevations that are having issues also - North and West are spot on.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Could it be that the wall that should hide these items be hidden in view or set to transparent in the over-ride graphics in view by element?

Did you ever find out how to solve this problem? Some co-workers are experiencing this problem and we can't figure out what is causing this.

Maybe changing your view properties Discipline to Architectural or Coordination.

Check the phasing and phasing overrides. When you create an elevation it uses the same phase as the plan it was created in.

We are having the same issue in 2012. Is there really no resolution?
